Gerald and Carol live in the Katy area, and are members of Parkway Fellowship Church in Katy. Their two sons were born in Houston. Christopher attends Baylor University and is a 4th Degree Black Belt Certified Instructor. He is a member of the National Honor Society and was awarded ATA's award for being the Outstanding Junior Leader of the year in 1998. Brandon attends Texas Tech University and is a 1st Degree Black Belt. He is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and volunteers to work annually on activities like the Cinco Ranch Triathlon.
